We are currently casting for the following productions: THE B TEAM (Action Packed, Kung-Fu "B" Movie Thriller!) This is the story of a group of friends on a camping trip gone bad. Michael, Christine and their gang of misfit pals have barely been out of town for an hour before they encounter a psychopath with his own idea of fun. He takes Christine hostage and Michael and his gang must use their martial arts skills to free her. Whew... try to swallow that one! 40-50 Minute DV feature. This is a no budget, non-union production shooting in mid Feb. '04. The shoot will be 4-5 days with no pay. Look forward to plenty of fun and lots of apples and soda! Taping will be in the Los Angeles area, so we are looking for Southern California locals on this project. Mostly taking place in the Santa Monica Mountains during a weekend, with 2-3 weekdays to follow. The weekday shoots will be half days (10am to 3:30pm). No travel or personal expenses will be covered. Meals are covered on full days, but don't expect much more than McDonalds or Taco Bell. This movie is intended for (but not limited to) online distribution (iFILM) and some smaller film festivals. Looking to fill the following role: Christine: The damsel in distress, mid 20s - early 30s. (Keep in mind that the script sucks and you'll be expected to improv!) We are also looking for a 2nd cameraman with his own PAL format DV camera. Must have wide screen capabilities.
